So, it's been a while since I've posted but we have been out of town on vacation and I'm just now getting around to uploading the pics. I'm such a procrastinator sometimes!
We took our annual trip to Florida last month and had a blast! This year we went all by ourselves (the 4 of us) and got to stay a couple of extra days. We love being in Florida! We'd get up in the mornings and walk on the beach, come back and eat breakfast, then suit up and head out to play for a few hours. Once the heat of the day arrived we'd wash up and walk to eat lunch and relax in the house for a bit. Then we'd suit up again and head out to play again until it was time to come up for dinner. After dinner we'd go for yet another walk on the beach. This was how pretty much EVERY day went while we were there. We spent almost all of our time outside and even though there were days that were over 100 degrees, with the ocean breeze it wasn't too bad.
While we're glad to be home, we miss Florida a ton!!!
Some other things we enjoyed while there....
* we ate ice cream almost every day - a big deal for us!
* we watched two little boys, between 5 and 7 years old, surf - and they were really good!
* we watched the dolphins swim by and do flips out of the water almost every day.
* got to watch a shrimp boat unload all of it's "catch".
* we went to the theater to watch Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
- another big deal for us since we never go to the movies!
* and we went house hunting one day. Not sure if we'll make the move, but we are definitely thinking about it.
